IMPROVING DEALERSHIP OPERATIONS

Performance Development Group (PDG) provides a wide variety of services designed to improve dealership operations, ranging from simple telephone advice to extensive on-site organizational interventions. Expertise — Our services range from single phone conversations to help with one particular situation to extensive in-dealership organizational development initiatives. Because of our extensive retail experience, as well as developing and/or delivering many dealership operations improvement initiatives over the years, we have expertise in virtually all areas of the automobile business. Call us with your thoughts and concerns – we have lots of tips, “best practices” and innovative thinking!

Coaching — We work with individuals or small groups to improve their performance on the job. The coaching takes place by telephone, email and in-person, depending upon what’s being accomplished. Typically, we work with individuals to develop a Personal Performance Development Plan, and then work from this plan. Typically this is done from discussions with the individuals and their team members and management, from various assessments, and from observations. Ask for more details.

Process Improvement — We work with your management team and key dealership personnel to examine your current approach, then make improvements in effectiveness and efficiency. We have process maps, work instructions, guidelines and procedures for every area of the dealership. We customize everything to your specific business approach, we don’t provide pre-packaged, off-the-shelf solutions. There is no additional charge for this.
